University of Minnesota Twin Cities - Minneapolis The Twin Cities campus is the flagship of the University of Minnesota System. It is Minnesota’s only land-grant university and one of the most prestigious public research universities in the nation. It was founded in 1851 near Saint Anthony Falls on the banks of the Mississippi River. This year’s national conference will take place At Pioneer Hall, a modern facility with conference space, dining, and rooms all in one space. It is located at 615 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, an easy, 30-minute Metro ride from the airport, 9 stops on the blue line to the US Bank Stadium Station, then 3 stops on the Green Line to the East Base stop. Pioneer Hall Unless otherwise noted, all conference activities will occur within Pioneer Hall which is located at 615 Fulton St. SE overlooking the Mississippi River. It is a modern facility with meeting spaces, dorm rooms, and large cafeteria. | ![]() | ![]() |
Lodging - Dorm Rooms Two person dorm rooms are located in Pioneer hall. The beds have good mattresses, with a desk and drawers below, thus the mattress top is about 36" off the floor. If this is too high for you to manage be sure to check the "Need accessible Bed" option on the registration form. Modern baths are shared. The room cost includes linens and towels, free Wi-Fi, laundry access. |
