A group of Servas members from Nebraska and Iowa spent a wonderful evening, June 22, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, listening to the Flamenco fusion music of Gladius. Who’s Gladius? Well, he is an award-winning composer and “accomplished classical/flamenco style guitarist” who soulfully “shreds on the electric” (Phil Keaggy, famous guitarist). He is also Servas member Andrew Connors, from Lilburn, Georgia, and now on tour throughout the U.S. this Summer.  

This fun evening all began when Andrew requested a stay with the author in Papillion, NE. You never know when a wonderful treat you will be in for when a Servas traveler shows up at your door. Gladius is a great guy and if he is anywhere near your area he has a must-see show. Check out his Tour Schedule to see if that might be the case.
