About Servas DC

Servas D.C. is one of the largest and most active groups in the country. We include travelers and hosts from the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area; D.C., Norther Virginia and parts of Maryland.

We sponsor pot-luck dinners several times a year, including in December or January and in the summer. These are enjoyable occasions for meeting Servas friends and for non Servas members to meet us and learn about our activities. From time to time members will sponsor events featuring talks about their recent Servas trips, arrange foreign embassy parties, or invite us to international film showings, festivals or museum events. D.C. abounds with opportunities for interesting national and especially internationally related programs. Many members because of their vocations and avocations are well versed in the history and special culture of Washington, the national's capitol. They will gladly share their knowledge with you.

Finally, Servas DC has a local list-serve which is an email network that links members and friends.
